HOW TO PLAY

  1. Sort the Deck: Each player splits the deck into three piles: "Care A Lot," "Care A Little," "Don't Care."
  2. The Triage: Narrow your "Care A Lot" pile down to your top 5.
  3. The Reveal: Order your top 5 and take turns explaining why that specific quality defines who you are.

THE "DUAL-MODE" ADVANTAGE

Every card features a VAL Quality (like Discipline or Empathy) accompanied by a brief definition. But that's just the start.

  • Mode A (Values): Discuss the philosophy behind the quality.
  • Mode B (Story): Use the "Story Mode" prompt on the back to share a real-life moment when you had to live by that quality.

This is the Founder's Edition of VAL. While we are currently transitioning to mass production, this batch is uniquely special. Every single deck in this run is hand-printed and hand-laminated by the creator (that's me, Stu).

Because this is a limited run, the art is AI-generated but hand-curated and enhanced with a psychedelic, cosmic aesthetic that you won't find in big-box stores. Once we sell out this run, we move to the "Deluxe" human-illustrated print run. This is your chance to own a piece of the original.
